I can't ignore of the possibility that I might get infected by this fever, even though I have read that there is no treatment for it. I found that CDC performs Chikungunya testing,and I finally insisted on a blood test done for this disease. This way I can proof what I think I have and hopefully the medical pratitioners can be more aware about this kind of disease. It is an inconvenient desease, and I have had it for almost 2 months now. It appears to come and go (headaches, upper body aches and pains, but most importantly, the joint aches (I suppose much like gout or arthritis)). Medicines don't help, I suppose one has to learn to live with it!
