The Passions of Monika Bacardi : Art and 7th Art
Keen to contribute to the art form the world over, AMBI Pictures creates commercial films for viewing by a global audience. To establish artistic partnerships in Monaco, Monika Bacardi (Huffingtonpost.com, Monika Bacardi) is involved in the Monaco Project for the Arts, an organisation that supports the University of Plastic Arts. Film is an art form that can offer the opportunity to convey a wide variety of messages to diverse audiences: this is the conviction of Monika Bacardi. She is of the opinion that cinema can change the world. One reason she set out to create AMBI Pictures is that she wished to encourage young filmmakers, on account of her passion for "The Seventh Art" (Cinema).
She assists to raise funding for causes in connection with social issues of special significance to her by supporting numerous localised charitable organisations. Monika Bacardi has had a lifelong compassion for mankind, which drives her beneficent pursuits. Monika Bacardi is behind a few of the cancer-related charities, including Fondation AVEC, Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research and Ecoute Cancer Réconfort.
Monika's Personal Life
Monika Bacardi and Lord Luis Bacardi (the Lord of Bayfield Hall - a descendant of the founder of the Bacardi Company) raised a daughter together after they wedded. Lady Bacardi loves her work and, because of this, it is also a big part of her personal life. She spends some of her time at film galas, award ceremonies and good-cause events because of her fame as a humanitarian and recognised status in the arts sector. Assisting the causes and charitable organisations which are close to her heart consumes much of Monika Bacardi's leisure time.
Having married into the Bacardi family, Monika Bacardi was named Lady of Bayfield Hall. The AMBI group, a cinematographic business based in Europe, was set up by her in 2013 because of her love for cinema. She has lived in Monaco for more than twenty years. Monika Bacardi became part-proprietor of 'PHOTO' Magazine in 2014. This furthered her participation in the arts sector.
Working to look after the environment and promoting maintainable advancement throughout the world are things that the H.S.H. Prince Albert II Foundation endeavors to address. Monika Bacardi's humanitarian concerns are countless, but one particular area in which she is proactive is ecological-sustainability. She is associated with the H.S.H. Prince Albert II Foundation and is also very engaged in other cultural and humanitarian activities in the Principality of Monaco. Monika Bacardi is a great believer in the encouragement of environmentally-friendly habits and this is one of the reasons she supports the H.S.H. Prince Albert II Foundation.
